A decade at Meta, Amazon, and Walmart launching new bets in unproven spaces and driving growth and quality on some of the world's largest consumer platforms.

Drove global product strategy for Facebook Marketplace Search, growing engagement and improving quality, with progress reported to Meta's CPO. Also led Marketplace's push to deliver a world-class content search experience, launching visual search and driving the strategy for integrating Marketplace content into Meta AI.
Led messaging products within Walmart's conversational commerce incubator and graduated Text to Shop, an NLP-based shopping assistant, into Walmart's core business (only product to graduate in 2023). Also crafted strategy and ran initial testing for the company's agentic shopping assistant (Sparky).

Worked with the original PillPack team to launch Amazon Pharmacy. Owned onboarding, notifications, and medication management for the beta and GA launches. Also shipped medication-lifecycle features that save customers millions of hours a year and delivered the pharmacy's Alexa integration.

Revamped the sign-up flow for Amazon Household, turbocharging program growth across the US and Europe. Also authored the CEO-approved strategy to unify backend sharing services across Amazon.
Real products that solve real needs in my own life while keeping me hands-on with the newest AI tools.

Product leader with a decade of experience taking new ideas from zero to one and scaling global platforms at Meta, Amazon, and Walmart. Most recently led global product strategy for Facebook Marketplace Search, where I focused on growth, quality, and developing new AI-powered features. Previously built AI shopping assistants for Walmart, launched Amazon Pharmacy, and grew Amazon Household across the US and Europe.
Known for digging into ambiguous customer problems, building trust across orgs, setting a clear product vision, and rallying cross-functional teams to deliver experiences that users love.
Side projects in travel, wine, and sports predictions keep me building daily with the latest AI dev stack. Each one solves a real problem for me, my friends, or my family.
Excited about conversational and agentic commerce, health tech and wellness, travel, sports and entertainment, edtech, and personalized software, but open to anything where the problem is interesting and the team is strong. Currently exploring senior IC roles — if you and your team are building something interesting, I'd love to hear about it.
I promoted him to manage a group of PMs on a 0-1 product area that was highly ambiguous, straddling both technical and UX uncertainty. I was impressed by his ability to articulate an opinionated, strong position on several product questions, while also being flexible enough to champion a new product team culture that we were instituting. He continued to operate as a senior IC while providing leadership and support to his team, and maintained a high level of professionalism and earned a lot of respect from his peers in the process. An aspect of his ability that stands out is his written and verbal communication, where he's clearly in the top percentile of people at his level. I recommend him strongly for product leadership positions.
Matt is a great partner, it has been an absolute pleasure to work closely with him. His exceptional leadership, in-depth product understanding, and collaborative spirit have been instrumental in shaping our team's strategy and driving execution. He has a real strength for navigating high-ambiguity workstreams.
Matt is a compelling storyteller who makes complex ideas accessible and engaging to leadership, conveying the core message along with the reasoning and data while inspiring alignment. He moves fluidly between high-level strategy and the fine details.
This was extremely ambiguous at the start, and Matt brought clarity, giving the team concrete areas to execute against. He's a collaborative and inclusive partner who welcomes input from all stakeholders. He ensures a comprehensive, digestible plan of action while keeping commitments realistic and fully eng-supported, and I've appreciated his thoughtful partnership on nuanced, consequential decisions.
